The Wait
Many times in life, we wait for something to happen and someone to change. We wait with an expectation. Not with acceptance. Yes. Waiting with acceptance….. That’s where real waiting begins.
Expectation creates a “not real” map in our thinking. We want “not real ” to become “real” by someone or by something. This is where waiting becomes an irritation. ‘How long / How many times / How can ‘ sort of questions start to come out and question us with unreal practical situation. We start to feel a kind of uneasiness. Do you think this is waiting?
There is another kind of ‘waiting’. Waiting with acceptance. Let us accept what happened in the past – the unchangeable! Let’s also accept the actions, which are not in our control. These two brings us to a state called ‘reality’. Once reaching here, your unreal maps start to die. You start to relate everyday actions better. Because you are clear about real and unreal.
Waiting becomes beautiful & with full of surprises when we accept the reality and start to wait for life’s turn to show us some interesting pages. Here the wait becomes Meditative. A kind of Conversing with Nature. Nature starts to give signals to you about your future. About your next steps in life. About your responsibilities. About your next everything.
This is what real meditation is all about. It just makes you to choose your next steps with peace and love. No urgency anywhere. Just a step at a time. And… You reach the “never ever thought” stage.
Once a Yogi said to me … “The best of you blossoms inside when you understand reality and starts to practice waiting with complete acceptance. When there are no resistance and expectations … Everything happens in front of our eyes become beautiful. This is where the real blossoming happens inside you. From there, you are a new unique and interesting creature “.
If you choose to ‘wait’ in such state, with full acceptance and without expectations, I am sure you will find someone walking along with you. That walk will be towards nothing but enjoying reality on the way. Would love to? …If so, I will meet you there.
