The Content
Achieved social status? Bought a land? Built a house? Purchased a car? Healthy bank balance? Done? That’s it? Are we content now? Never ever.
When we earned our first money, we felt good. But for how long? For some time. Then? We started again. We set “more than that “as next step. In that process, we achieve something but we miss contentment. We get satisfaction. And we cleverly confuse that with contentment.
So… what is contentment then? Before answering that lets understand contentment is Soul specific not Goal specific. When we achieve a Goal we develop two – 1. Satisfaction 2. Next Goal. (There is a byproduct with this … that’s Ego!).
Have we ever sat silent and witnessed Sunrise? Sunset? Have we ever followed a butterfly for few seconds or minutes? Have we ever seen the river flowing beautifully with swirls forming here and there? Have we ever sat below a banana leaf when raining mild? Have we ever played with a kid as a kid? Have we ever hugged each other without Masks on face? Have we ever done painting? Have we sang a song for ourselves? Have we ever written something that inspires ONE in this society? Have we ever delivered a speech that provokes few towards good thoughts?
The above questions are Soul specific. The above questions can’t be answered with materialistic life we hold. Soul is what stands as our axis. This Rich Soul can never be replaced by anything in the world. Soul expects soul filling moments. A hug from a closest one makes our revival much faster than any preaching we hear. Few hours spent on seashore, listening to our internal dialogue is a powerful therapy than anything else. Soul filling are natural and can’t be purchased. Can an entire river and bank of the River be purchased?
When you are with Nature, butterfly teaches persistence. Eagle teaches focus. Fish teaches flexibility. Grass brings hope. Dew on the petals of Grass paints beauty. Life is more meaningful when we come out of our conditioned cars, conditioned homes, conditioned institutions, conditioned system and from conditioned frame of lifestyles.
There is a world waits for our soul. There is a world we created artificially waits for us to survive better. Both are required but only one will feed the Soul. Choose that world. Sure … I will be waiting for your arrival there. Let’s meet and travel Soul filled!
