I understand nowadays parenting is very different still challenging.
Kids think getting iPhone is how we can show love to them at the same time they don’t understand doing the best what they can is basic expectation from a parent. Trying to balance this we loose our balance. How to handle? – Shankar
The Role of a Parent is to show Love in many forms. Just curious to know the answers for the following Questions.
1. Have you ever written a letter ( hand written – not mail ) to your Kids ? Wife ? And to parents ?
2. When was the last time you had a ” Complete Sit Down ” time with your Kids ?
3. Have you ever listened to Your kids completely without interruption ?
4. Have you ever asked them about what is to be changed in you ?
5. Have you ever asked them about their unfulfilled wishes ?
If so, The Love is already exchanged very well. Just would like to surprise you with one answer here. Children expect something else when they don’t get Regular Love from parents. We may assume that we are giving it. But Love mostly gets its value from the one who receives it not from the one who gives it.
Above all .. if we have enough finance and possibilities & if they are Capable .. we can present an iPhone when they are truly ready.
Hope I have given you the answer.
