” I have a Dream of walking 10000 steps everyday for a year. I have read a lot about walking and it’s benefits. But .. I am unable to wake up in the morning hours. When alarm rings, I choose snooze and continuing sleep again. Tell me ….How can I overcome this ? ”

I saw her. Middle age, Single mom, Three kids. Divorce experiences of Recent past, Disappointed about Life, Unexpected Memories of her Good times … She was a mixture of all.

I asked her.

” Let’s forget 10000 for some time. Let’s focus on the Snooze. ”

On hearing snooze she laughed.

” What’s snooze is to you ? ”

She thought for a while and said …” Laziness ”

” Laziness. Hmm. So .. Whats alarm to you ? ”

She thought again with a smile and said …” New Life ”

I kept quiet. I allowed her to digest both meanings by saying …

” Hmmm .. New Life Vs Laziness … That’s what happening hmmmm… ”

She nodded her head up and down with her eyebrows stood in surprise mode.

” Mam … What’s that New Life is all about ? ”

She thought for a while and said … ” Fit and Facing the World ”

I kept quiet for few seconds and said …” So … Its between Fit and Facing the World vs Laziness ? ”

There was a blink moment in her eyes.

We both were in silence. She possibly was digesting my question and I was clearly with a purpose of making her to Digest that question.

After few seconds .. She said …” No .. I want to be Fit and Facing the World. ”

I smiled at her and asked ..

” If so, what will happen to Xxxx ? ( Her name ) ”

She smiled back and said .. ” She will Face anything ”

” Then Face anything .. Anything. Anything …. Including Snooze ”

We both laughed.

Next day to till date … She wakes up early and achieves 10000 steps walking.

Recently she posted me a line ..

” ” Face Anything ” is the line that changed my lifestyle. Thanks for that. ”

I replied her. ” That was your Line. I just said back it to you. What a wonderful mam you are – Thanking you through me ?! 😊😊 ”

We both laughed
